Biography
Anwar Tawae, born in 1994, is a multidisciplinary Moroccan artist working in the fields of acting, directing, and screenwriting. He received his academic training at the Municipal Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sidi Belyout between 2015 and 2017, and continued to develop his artistic skills through professional training in character design, storyboarding, animated series screenwriting, and illustration for animated films.
His career spans cinema, theater, and performance art. He took part in several film projects alongside director El Ghazouani Madane, working as an assistant director and acting coach. He also led the acting team for the feature film *Mauvais Temps* (2024). In the field of performance art, he worked as an actor and performer in various works by visual artist Yassine Belbazoui, including *Khalimna* and *Flying Spoons*.
Between 2021 and 2023, he co-founded the production and creative advertising company **OVEN Prod**, where he served as the artistic director. In 2024, he directed his first short film titled *Sheep*, created using the rotoscope technique, a unique artistic experiment that blends cinema and animation.
